Yesterday I went to LabCorp to have blood drawn to test my glucose tolerance. Today I got an unexpected call from my doctor (never good in my opinion) that said I had failed the test. :( So now I have to go sometime in the next week or two and have a 3 hour glucose tolerance test done. I have to lay off carbs, not eat the night before, go to the lab have my blood drawn at the fasting rate, then drink something, and then have my blood drawn once an hour for 3 hours. I am not allowed to leave the lab in between draws.
Needless to say I am not very excited about it but I guess it is my own fault for not eating the way that I should eat. I can only be mad at myself.
