John Brooks at 2 months

We took John Brooks to his 2 month well visit today. He had to get three shots and an oral vaccine. He was a big boy and took the oral vaccine like a champ. He only cried for a little while after the shots too but we have some infant tylenol ready just in case his little legs hurt him later today. I have been really anxious to find out how much he has grown because to me he has changed sooo much since January. His latest states are:

weight ~ 9 lbs 8 oz

height ~ 22 1/2 inches

head circumference ~ 37 inches

a lean mean fighting machine015

Some of his latest milestones are:

~ smiling  ~ cooing  ~ babbling (ah-boo, oooh, and other assorted g argly noises), kicking his feet to make the bouncy seat move, sleeping from 10:30 pm til about 6:30 or 7 am

Some things he is working on:

~ holding his head up when on his tummy ~ sucking his thumb ~ holding a binky in his mouth

Some things he loves:

~ his swing  ~ his bouncy seat  ~ his activity gym ~ laying on the boppy and talking to mama ~ laying on the changing table and talking to anyone/anything that will listen ~ his fan ~ the animals on his crib bumper ~ eating 010

John Brooks: Daddy and I are so amazed by how you change from day to day. We love to see your smiles light up your face! We also love having “conversations” with you. We are so proud that you have already started sleeping through the night! You love to eat and are quick to let us know when it is time to be fed. We cant wait to see what is to come in the next few weeks! We love you soooo much and are soooo happy that you are here!
