Splish, Splash!

 

This week is spring break in the county where we attend church. The children’s department hosted a little get together at the local splash park and John Brooks and I decided that we needed to check it out. That hand over the mouth thing is his new “I’m so excited face”

I had a feeling that John Brooks was going to loooove the splash park because he loooooves the bathtub and is already practicing for his swim lessons in June….boy was I right!

I have never in my life seen a boy more happy and excited to be in a place then watching my son at this splash park. He would run in the water and then come out and then laugh and then squeal and then run back in. It was sooo cute to watch him be so animated! He really loves to be around people and other children so the fact that there were tons of other kids to play with just put the icing on the cake – and it didn’t matter if they were 1 years old or 10 years old John Brooks was going to play with them too!

After two hours of splish-splashing fun plus one hamburger and two Oreos my boy was plum tuckered out!

He had such a wonderful time and I know that we will be going back soon(did I mention its free)!
